Block A: Great work today in your small groups answering the questions for "Penny in the Dust." We will continue our work on theme statements tomorrow.
Block B: Hope you are enjoying Pursuit of Happyness. Make sure you are completing your chart on the characters in the movie. We will finish up the movie and related activities tomorrow.
Block D: Thank you for handing in your "Saturday Climbing" literary analysis theme paragraphs today! Everyone successfully signed out a text book to complete their literary analysis final project. The entire project will be due on Thursday of next week. I will not be assigning additional work during this time - so you should have lots of class time to complete the work. Remember you need to complete a plot summary, a creative task, and a literary analysis paragraph.
