Block A: Thank you so much for the Verbal/Visual Essays - they look fantastic. You need to have a novel in class on Monday. Start thinking about a novel that is grade 12 appropriate - there are lots of great resources out there as far as lists of books. Push yourself a little bit and see what is out there. You need to choose your novel by Friday Oct. 30. If you did not finish the work today in class on form and meaning in poetry here is the slide.
I'll collect your poems and observations on Monday.
Block B: Do your best to finish the outline for your first body paragraph. There will be some time on Monday to write the rest of the outline. I've set a tentative due date for the outline for Tuesday - but we'll just see how it goes. Reminder: I will be signing up your Book Talk books on Monday!
Block D: If you did not finish the 5 character warm-ups from class please do so this weekend. Remember you must choose either static, or dynamic, round or flat, and give reasons why.
To seek, to strive, to find, and not to yield. - Ulysses
