Block B: I know that there were some challenges with the context clues activity today - but the point is to try - not to be perfect! We will postpone the adverb and adjective quiz for Monday - to add in another day of practice. No homework tonight!
Block C: Today I assigned the next big project for English. You are to complete a series of tasks and lessons designed to showcase your ability to turn abstract concepts into reality. There will be limited structure for getting your work done - but DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!! There is way too much to do. No formal homework tonight - just get started on your project.
Block D: Some interesting dynamics today in your groups as you got started on Lord of the Flies Survivor Challenge #1. Team posters are up in the room - and I will announce the winners at the start of class tomorrow. Make sure you read chapter 1 tonight and complete your minimum of 4 sticky notes that you need to have in order to compete in the challenge tomorrow. No sticky notes - means no challenge!
