Block A: We worked on the 4th and final task for Shakespeare's "My Misstress' Eyes" sonnet. You are to create a conceit (extended metaphor) of your own in a formal paragraph following the same format as my example with Miss Strangeworth. Make sure that you have your speech and poem for class tomorrow because we will be rehearsing for our dramatic reading day on Monday!
Block C: Phew - take a much needed rest tonight!!! Our synthesis essays will continue in class tomorrow.
Block D: The good copy of your found poem with the visual is due on Monday, as is your depth of meaning poem with the written reflection. We will start our mini-essay tomorrow!!
