Block D: Good copy of your short story is due on Monday!!
Block C: We finished "Paul's Case" today - here are the questions that you need to do. Point form is fine...
1. What parts did you find confusing, interesting, disturbing etc?
2. Do you think Paul's adventure sounds like fun? why or why not?
3. What do you think of the story?
4. Were you surprised by the ending?
5. Is Paul artistic? What value does he find in art?
6. What does art, his trip to New York, and his suicide all have in common?
7. How does the author describe Paul's suicide?
8. Do you think he is brave or cowardly? Why?
For Monday, please have the above questions finished, as well as the literary analysis for the story. We talked about the Post Card Story assignment, but have not officially started it. The expectation is for Monday that you have made your choice, of which of the three options you wish to explore in your short work of fiction.
Block A: Complete Poetry Journal #1 for Monday. In addition, please complete the chart for "The Road Not Taken" please avoid cliches when writing your theme statement!!!
