Well, this is our last Wednesday!!!

Thank you all for a wonderful semester!!! I've really enjoyed our time together and I hope that you have too.

Tell me all about our last Tuesday!

Block B: I hope that you found the experience in the library good preparation for the real thing next Monday. If you have a chance - go ahead and do a little bit more - as you can see there are other free e-exams available.

Block C: A great start to your final in-class paragraphs today!!! You will have one more class to write your rough draft and good copy. No homework tonight :)

Block D: Day one of writing is over! No homework tonight :)

My oh my - it's our last Monday!

Block B: Exam prep continues tomorrow - meet in 504 - then we'll head down to the computer lab together.

Block C: A good start to the character analysis final assignment. There is no homework tonight - just think about a character from The Outsiders that intrigues you.

Block D: Our final in-class essays start tomorrow - come to class prepared to outline! There is no homework tonight.

Final Friday!

Block B: I don't think anyone will be sad to see the last of the visual designs! We'll wrap things up on Monday and move on to the Part D original composition.

Block C: Sorry the movie is such a bust - you wouldn't have believed me even if I told you!!! Thank you for the text-codes and the character wanted posters. There is no homework this weekend :)

Block D: I can't believe the bell rang - just as we were getting to the final scene!!!! We'll finish on Monday though - I promise. No homework this weekend :)

Thoughts on Thursday:

Block B: Visual designs continue - then it's on to the essay!

Block C: There is the second attempt at ELO 6 tomorrow. In addition please hand in your text-codes and character wanted posters.

Block D: I will be collecting the study guide questions for Acts 1-5 tomorrow.

Wonderful Wednesday:

Block B: Visual designs - why are you so difficult?! Keep plugging away - practice continues tomorrow.

Block C: Dates that you need to be aware of:

Thursday June 11th: Good copy of your Johnny Obituary is due - with the rough draft, planning sheet and yellow criteria.
Friday June 12th: ELO 6 2nd attempt. Also the text-codes and Character wanted posters are due.

Block D: I will be collecting the Act 1-5 review questions on Friday. Make sure you have them all organized! If you didn't finish off your reflection of the play (CSI) please do so tonight for homework.

Tell us about Tuesday:

Block B: If we get the chance we'll come back to business letters - for now we are going to concentrate on visual designs.

Block C: You will have another chance at ELO 6 on Friday June 12th. Study your parts of speech! For homework tonight - read and complete your text codes for chapter 11. Also - if you didn't finish the rough draft of your Johnny Obituary - please have that done for peer editing tomorrow.

Block D: If you didn't finish the questions for Act 5 - please do so tonight!
