Blocks A&D: Planning for your essay is all done - now we're on to the real thing tomorrow! You will find your planning sheets on your desk in the Legends gym tomorrow at 12:55. Bring pens (blue or black), water and white out (optional). Do not bring your phone or any other outside sources. You will have 2 hours to complete this assessment.

Block B: I'll be here for extra practice during B blocks this week! Your Provincial Exam is Thursday at 9:00 am- make sure you have a good night's sleep and are here early! Bring your ID, pens, pencils and an old school watch. You've worked really hard this semester and you deserve to do well. Good luck!

Final Friday of the Semester!

Blocks A&D: Homework tonight is to finish the exposition part of the plot diagram - which is just the basics of character and setting. You will have time in class tomorrow to complete the rest of it.

Blocks A&D: Great discussion today about the All American Boys excerpt! If you didn't finish the chart on Rashad and Paul please do that for homework. For block D - if you didn't finish your own examples on the plot notes please complete them for Monday. If you are in my block A class - don't worry about it - we'll get to that on Monday.

Block B: Your second (and last) writing block is Monday! If you would like to get an early jump on things - come to my room at 7:30 in the morning on Monday and you can get in some extra time. Otherwise you can come in after school.

Blocks A&D: If you did not have enough time in class today to finish the research on the 2 historic injustices; the Chinese Canadian experience and the Jewish Canadian experience, please finish them at home tonight - use the password provided on the green sheet to access the library databases at home!

Block B: There is no homework tonight - you will have class time tomorrow to annotate your poem and complete 2 analysis charts before moving on to the outline. You will have Wednesday, Thursday for the outline and Essay writing days will be Friday and Monday.
